I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona, and while this is not a Christian counseling practice, I am a follower of Jesus. If you desire and request it, I can integrate aspects of the Christian faith into our sessions. This may include incorporating biblical principles, prayer, or faith-based perspectives to support your personal growth and healing. My goal is to meet you where you are and provide the guidance and support you need in a way that respects your beliefs.

Yes, I specialize in therapy for childhood trauma and abuse. With extensive training in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, I am equipped to help clients process and heal from trauma distress. Whether you're dealing with the lasting effects of early childhood abuse, neglect, or other adverse experiences, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment for healing. 

I am deeply passionate about helping those navigating these challenging experiences, as I have personal experience with the emotional toll this journey can take. My approach provides a compassionate, supportive space to process grief, manage emotional distress, and explore available support resources. I do not operate In-Network with insurance companies, but I do provide a monthly clinical superbill for Out-of-Network reimbursement. This allows you to submit it to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I also accept payment via Health Savings Accounts (HSA), debit, credit, cash, and check.

Yes, I offer reduced-rate spots on my caseload based on availability. These spots are limited and provide 12 sessions at a reduced rate. For more information on current availability or waitlist times, please contact Majo at majo@buildingbridgescollective.com.

The length of therapy depends on your unique goals and needs, as healing is different and unique for everyone. After your intake session, we’ll work together to set treatment goals, and we’ll periodically review them to assess progress and make adjustments as needed. Therapy could last a few months or longer, depending on the nature of the challenges we’re addressing. The important thing is that we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Yes, virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many people. While occasional technical issues like weak internet connections or distractions can arise, most clients find online therapy to be a convenient and helpful option for their mental health. After your intake session, we’ll discuss your specific needs and make sure we adjust the format to work best for you.
