You've wondered if therapy would fit with your faith, or if you should just be able to handle this on your own.
I'm here to tell you that therapy helps you process your pain while your faith grows stronger. You don't have to choose.
I was born and raised in Guatemala and came to the U.S. for college as a student-athlete. I didn't grow up Christian, but I came to faith in college, which completely changed how I see healing and what it means to rebuild your identity from the ground up.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in business. But I kept coming back to the same thing, I wanted to help people who were carrying trauma and grief they didn't know how to talk about. That's what led me to counseling, and working with teens is what made me fall in love with this work. Over time, I also developed a deep passion for working with adult women, especially those navigating miscarriage, infertility, and the kind of silent grief that doesn't always get acknowledged in faith communities.
As a bilingual Latina therapist, I bring cultural awareness and language support into everything I do. I started my practice because I wanted to create a space where people could process their pain and deepen their faith
I care about what you're going through, and that shows up in how we work together. You won't feel like you're talking to someone who's just checking boxes or following a script. The details you share matter, and you'll have space to be honest about what's really happening without feeling judged or rushed.
We'll use EMDR and trauma therapy to help you work through grief and the patterns that keep showing up in your life. The pace is always yours to set. And if your faith is important to you, we'll honor that throughout our work.
You'll walk away from therapy with tools that help you calm your nervous system, understand why you react the way you do, and feel more confident in your relationships and decisions.
I'm trained in trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, parts work, and attachment-based approaches. I specialize in working with Christian women and teens who are healing from trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship wounds, and the unique pain of miscarriage and infertility.
Whether you're a teen trying to make sense of overwhelming emotions or an adult dealing with wounds from your past, therapy helps you work through what's underneath so you can move forward with clarity.
A lot of people come to therapy feeling anxious, exhausted, or stuck in patterns they want to change. Maybe it's trauma you didn't realize was still affecting you. Or grief that doesn't fit into everyday conversations. Or relational wounds that keep showing up no matter how hard you try. Therapy gives you space to process what's going on and tools to actually heal so you can finally feel grounded in who you are.
