At Building Bridges Collective, I don’t just provide therapy, I provide a safe space for you to heal and find freedom.
The name “Building Bridges Collective” isn’t just a title. It’s the heart of what I do. I believe deeply in the power of connection, in creating bridges between the different worlds that shape our lives. Whether it’s connecting the spiritual and mental health aspects of life, linking past pain to future healing, or bridging gaps to healthier relationships with others, my practice exists to unite these seemingly separate worlds. It’s a space where stories from all walks of life are heard, valued, and understood.
I’ve always felt a pull toward connecting people, even when those connections felt impossible. With a background in business, I initially saw myself building bridges in corporate spaces. But when I began to connect with people on a deeper, more personal level, I realized my true calling was to help people build bridges within themselves and with others. That’s when I decided to pursue my Master’s in Counseling, not just for a career, but because I wanted to be part of people’s healing process, helping them reconcile the different parts of themselves and the relationships they hold dear.
The name “Building Bridges” was also inspired by a pivotal moment at a church youth retreat I attended as a youth leader. It was there that I saw the deep need for mental health awareness in the church. I knew I couldn’t stay on the sidelines anymore. I had to bridge the gap between the church community and the healing work that many people so desperately needed. That realization pushed me to take action, to offer a place where faith and mental health could coexist and where individuals could experience healing without fear of rejection.
I’m originally from Guatemala, so I also see my practice as a bridge between cultures, where language and experiences are honored. I understand the complexities of cultural identity and the way our pasts influence how we move forward. My passion for connecting different cultures and languages directly impacts my work, creating an inclusive and understanding space for everyone who walks through my door.
If you feel like there are parts of your life that don’t fit together, or if you’ve experienced rejection, grief, or loss that makes you feel disconnected from the world around you, I’m here to help. I’m committed to helping you heal through trauma healing, relationship support, and guiding you toward a stronger sense of who you are. Together, we’ll work to connect the pieces of your life, helping you move forward with clarity and purpose.
